The Solstice Collection

An Expert in Artful Living

Like many enduring ideas, the strength of the Solstice idea lies in its simplicity: collecting architecturally significant homes, and fulfilling their potential with interior designs in order to reflect an endemic elegance with the significance of their exceptional destination. This, with the freedom to escape the bond of traditional second-home ownership completes the canvas of its founder, Graham Kos.

The Solstice collection has won more awards than any other club, mainly because its ideas of use, design, and significance meld together to create a consistently extraordinary experience for its members who value quality over quantity.

“Not only is our member experience an important adjunct to our collection, but the art and texture of that experience is as well. We know the mood of the member is affected by the beauty and simplicity of the home designs, and we want our members to experience a welcoming place for friends and family as well as a peaceful retreat.” Said Kos.

The Solstice design aesthetic begins long before the homes, averaging $6.5M each, are purchased. It begins with the extraordinary destination selections and decisions of Kos and his colleagues. Examples: A Florence villa whose exterior was designed by Michelangelo himself, on the Piazza Della Signoria right down the street from the Uffizi; A classic Paris pied-a-terre on the coveted Ile St. Louis, near Notre Dame; A home in St. Barth’s, on a hill overlooking Gustavia Harbor; Two properties in Aspen, one designed by the famed contemporary designer Scott Lindenau; A Basque-styled architectural masterpiece at Aldosoro Ranch, in Telluride; The newly reconstructed residence in Napa Valley, that was once a 150-year old stone fort located in Texas; A 90-foot Dover Yacht, that travels seasonally along the New England Coast and throughout the Caribbean and Virgin Islands. There are residences in Cabo San Lucas, London, and New York that have similar, exceptional histories; And many others are under consideration as the collection grows at a comfortable pace that reflects the essence of what makes a Solstice membership worthy of its place atop the best.

Three plans include virtually unlimited use. Membership requires a one-time refundable deposit ranging from $535,000 to $1,650,000 depending on advance access reservation usage. Additional yacht surcharges and annual usage apply.
